Ernest Arthur Ames, 78, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away May 27, 2012.
He was born September 26, 1934 in Cumberland, Rhode Island the son of Ernest and Isabelle (Blodgett) Ames.
He proudly served in the United States Army.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory, his sister Clara Schofield and close friend Mary Kussmaul.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
