Angela Kay Zoll Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Angela “Angie” Kay Zoll, passed away July 28, 2022 in St. Petersburg, Florida. Angie was born in Tell City, Indiana on April 21, 1956 to Earl Robert Sr. and Yvonne Dean Huff Zoll. A graduate of Clarksville High School, Angie attended Indiana University Southeast before joining the Women’s Army Corps in 1977. There she met her life partner of 36 years, Violet Gonzalez, known as Vye. Upon retiring from the army, Angie worked for Kroger company in Jeffersonville, Indiana for 39 years. In the summer of 2013 Vye passed away and Angie decided to retire to Sarasota, Florida to be with family. Angie’s retirement years were spent attending and ushering at St. Jude’s Catholic Church, serving as Chairman of The Service to Veterans, and an active member of the Allapatah Chapter NSDAR. Most importantly, Angie enjoyed her family and friend’s company. Angie is survived by her mother Yvonne Zoll, brother Michael D. Zoll, and sisters Rebecca A. Zoll and Teena L. Mitchell. Angie as preceded in death by her partner Violet Gonzalez, her father, Earl R. Zoll, Sr., and brother, Earl “Robb” R.
