Thomas J. Giraldi, 74, suddenly passed away in the arms of his loving family on July 21, 2022. Tom was born in Philadelphia, PA. That is where he met and married the love of his life, Linda. Together they raised their children and made an amazing life together. Tom was a proud to work among his brothers as a Philadelphia Highway Patrol officer. Some of his best memories was on the elite motorcycle drill team. After 30 years of keep our city safe, his dream of moving to Florida became a reality. He relocated his family to Fort Myers, FL. Tom was never one to sit still long. He had decided to begin a new career with Lee Memorial Health System. He accepted a position as a security officer 12 years ago. He had made so many amazing friends and colleagues that he loved to protect. To know Tom (or Tommy) is to know that he was the most kind, selfless, happy, encouraging, funny, loving gentleman. He could always brighten up any room he walked into. He could always make you feel as if you were part of the family. Family was Tom’s top priority in life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but his memory will live in our hearts forever. Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Linda (née, Garofolo). Devoted father of Michelle (Jason) Griffith and Jerry Giraldi. Brother of John Giraldi. He is proceeded in death by his mother, Ann (née Innocente) and his father, Jerry. Relatives and friends are invited to join us for a visitation service on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 from 6-8pm at Gendron Funeral Home located at 2325 East Mall Drive, Fort Myers, FL 33901.
