Alice Mafera - ?Sissy? Born on May 19, 1944 and passed on October 23, 2012. She was a Loving Daughter, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and True Lifetime Friend? of Myakka City, Fl., formerly of Fruitville and Sarasota, Fl., everyone please join us to Celebrate her life at 1155 Taylor Rd., Myakka City, Fl., Time: 10:30am until ? on Sunday October 28th. All family and friends are welcome. Preceded in death by husband Stephen S. Mafera..and loving son Timothy Allen Mafera... She is survived by daughter Tina Snyder, grandson Justin Snyder and granddaughter Jenna Snyder ,son Wade D. Albritton and granddaughter Jade Albritton, son Stephen Mafera,wife Jonella Mafera, granddaughter Ashlin Mafera and grandson Stephen Mafera, son Ricky Mafera, wife Debbie Mafera and granddaughter Donna Rose Mafera, Brother Buck and wife Janice Ringo and nieces Virginia and husband Dave, Angie and husband Steve, great nephew Stephen and great niece Ashley and Dixie and great nieces Skylynn and Sabrina all from Myakka City, Fl. . Alice has lived in Myakka Head for the last 12 years with all of her family being right beside her and was Very Happy!!!! On October 23, 2012 God needed an Angel, not just any angel, a special one with a twinkle in her eyes, a smile that so often played upon her lips, who was capable of creating laughter over the simplest things. Her heart was filled with L O V E and generosity, always willing to listen to our troubles. Hard working with calloused hands that had a soft motherly touch when needed. A gift for making peace among us and holding the family together. A true friendship for all, so often over looking the bad and only seeing the good, yet the strength to endure the worst of times both physically and mentally. A great love for all Gods creations and as God searched among us one stood out above all the rest. A daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt but most of all a very special true friend to each and everyone of us, and so God reached down and plucked this rose of a woman from this earth and led her into the gates of heaven to tend to her angelic duties while leaving us with all these Precious Memories. So let us not let Alice?s life be in vain, let each and every one of us strive to become a better Daughter or Son, Wife or Husband, Mother or Father, Grand Mother or Father, Sister or Brother, Aunt or Uncle and most of all a better person, more loving and understanding so when our time comes we too will again meet Alice at those heavenly gates. For now let us not say goodbye as in every moment of everyday Alice is in our hearts and on our minds. In closing I say ?Mom Alice, I Love You and I will Miss You, your smile, your warmth, and most of all your friendship. I now ask God to give us the strength to carry on our duties and I thank him for all of the years we have shared and for all the precious memories we made together.
