Lisa Seaholm

On Tuesday, April 11, 2017 this world lost Lisa Ziroli Seaholm, age 49, of Naples, FL after a 2 ½ year battle against Melanoma Cancer. She faced this challenge, for the 2nd time, like she faced life, with faith and strength in God and always staying positive. Cancer took her life but it never broke her spirit or her love for life. She was born in Erie, PA on July 21, 1967 to Marie Ziroli and the late Palmer Ziroli. After graduating from Villa Maria Academy, Lisa worked with her father at Zurn Industries. She also worked at the Kahkwa Club and Shriners Bingo Hall and volunteered on the Extreme Home Makeover project in Erie. Lisa met the love of her life, Greg, and they were married in 1991. Shortly after, Lisa started her new job as a loving mother of 2 sons, Nicholas and Mitchell, and making a house a home for her family. Her favorite saying was “I Have the Best Family in the World”. Lisa viewed her life as a precious gift from God and she lived that life to show appreciation for that gift. She brought a sense of passion to everything she did that made people notice. She could turn the world on with her bright shining smile and showed us how to be courageous and humorous at the same time. Even during her illness she maintained her joy for life and family, being more concerned with their needs over her own, which was an inspiration to everyone she met. All these facets of Lisa’s personality did not allow the word NO to be a part of her vocabulary. She never turned away from someone in need. Her life’s journey allowed her to touch so many lives and forge many lasting friendships near and far who will remember her for her kind and generous spirit and her ability to make them feel special and a part of her family. We give thanks for the life Lisa had. The family would also like to extend a thank you to all in Erie who were a part of her last days in making a lifetime of memories that give all of us the strength to move forward. She was preceded in death by her father Palmer and sister-in-law Sherry Ziroli. She is survived by her husband Greg and sons Nicholas and Mitchell of Naples, FL, her mother Marie Ziroli, 2 sisters Cindy Agostino (Vincent) of Naples, FL and Paula Yazembiak of Erie, PA, a brother Daniel Ziroli of Erie, PA, in-laws Bill and Carol Seaholm, Erie, PA, sister-in-law Kim (Joe) O’Leary, brother-in-law Mark Seaholm and his partner Paula Swiderski, nieces and nephews, Nicole (Darren) DiFilippo, Ashley Agostino, Tara (Adam) Cole John Yazembiak, Keri Ziroli, Brady (Stephanie) O’Leary, Matt, Chad and Kaelin Seaholm. Death leaves a heartache that no one can heal, but Lisa’s love for God, life and others leaves a memory no one can steal. No calling hours were observed.
