Gendron Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc is a Family Owned and Operated full service funeral home. The Gendron Family has a long history of service to families in need of funeral and cremation services through out South West Florida. Gendron Funeral Home serves families from all faiths and customs in Fort Myers, Naples, Port Charlotte, Sarasota, Bradenton, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Tampa and Lakeland, Florida. Mike, Paul, and Melanie Gendron are proud to have more than 100 combined years of Funeral and Cremation Service to families in need and are there for you in your time of need.   • Michael P. Gendron

    Michael P. Gendron, Funeral Director

    Michael comes from New England originally. After graduating from the mortuary science program from Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida, he returned back to New England to join his family in the funeral business. After selling the family business in 1999, he moved to Florida to continue serving people in their time of need. He has worked for several local funeral homes in the S.W. Florida area over the past several years.Michael is a member of the Araba Shriners, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Benevolent Protective Order of Elks, Moose Lodge, Sons of the American Legion, St. Andrew's Catholic Church and National Funeral Directors Association. He enjoys golfing, traveling and spending time with his family and friends. Michael lives in Cape Coral.

  • Paul D. Gendron

    Paul D. Gendron, Funeral Director Assistant

    Paul is from New England originally. He attended New England Institute of Funeral Service in Boston and graduated in 1974 after being elected Class President by his fellow students. Paul assists our funeral home and the families we serve with over 54 years experience in the funeral industry. He is also a former firefighter with the Ludlow Fire Department.With his funeral and public service experience, Paul is often seen around town as the funeral home's community ambassador. He is an active participant in the Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce, Cape Coral Chamber of Commerce, Estero Chamber of Commerce, Southwest Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce North Port Chamber of Commerce and Sarasota Chamber of Commerce. He also works closely with civic organizations such as the Cameo Group, GoTo Network, Bridge Network and the BNI Business Network. He is a former President of the local Jaycees and is currently a member of the Saint Cecilia Council of the Knights of Columbus, Loyal Order of Moose, Sons of the American Legion, Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks and Sahib Shrine Temple. He lives in Sarasota and enjoys golfing, boating and spending time with his family.

    Ami is originally from Ohio, moved to SW Florida in 2004, where she is currently living in Cape Coral. Ami has been a licensed Cosmetologist for 23 years. She works out of our Fort Myers Office. She enjoys boating, horses and spending time with her family.

    Leanne Loiacono, Funeral Director Assistant

    Leanne was born and raised in Southwest, Florida. She spent the last 14 years in Orlando, where she owned and operated a commercial cleaning business. She relocated back to Southwest, Florida in 2022. Since then, she has joined the Gendron Funeral Group and is excited to be a member of such a great team who provides, comfort and compassion to families in their time of need. Leanne enjoys, boating, swimming, and time spent with loved ones.

    Farah McCauley, Funeral Director Assistant

    Farah Olivia McCauley (Hernandez) is originally from Queens, New York and found her way to SW Florida in 1992, spending the first 2 years in Miami and later transferring over to Cape Coral where she currently calls home.Farah has a background in marketing and computer science and works closely withthe SW Florida Hispanic Chamber and with the funeral home as their Hispanic liaison, helping Spanish speaking families implement their funeral arrangements. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband Kevin and children Katarina and Isabella. You can usually find Farah taking inthe sun at the beach, pool or boating in the pristine waters of SW Florida.

  • William “Bill”  Savino

    William “Bill” Savino, Funeral Director

    At the young age of 15, Mr. Savino started his life-long career in the funeral industry. He brings over 20 years of experience to the team, He has operated several Funeral Homes and Cemeteries.Bill is currently Licensed as a Funeral Director and embalmer in the states of Florida and New York and currently resides in South Florida with his three daughters.

  • Thomas Packer

    Thomas Packer, Funeral Director

    Tom was born and raised in Connecticut. He is a graduate of the American Academy of Funeral Service in New York City. Tom owned and operated Packer Funeral Home in Naugatuck, Connecticut. He sold his business in 1980 and moved to Sarasota, FL. He also owned and operated Packer Funeral Home in Sarasota. He sold the business in 2015 and joined Gendron Funeral and Cremation Services. He is a member of the Incarnation Men’s Club as well as the Knights of Columbus. Mr. Packer passed away November 7, 2019 and will be missed by many.
